Soon Soon Soon....we be out this bia

At this time, I understand. I get it. This will be a journey. A challenge. A learning experience. Traveling the world. Part of me must feel like conquering the impossible. Leaving No leaf unturned. Tahir and I are partners in this thing. I am pretty sure that travel and kids will bring us closer. In fact since we have been married we have been traveling. That is true. Dominican Republic, Vermont, Costa Rica, Trinidad and cruise to Jamaica and Cayman. I have a plan for me and T in Ocho Rios and the kids will join us in Cayman. Perfect Balance. We will get to see partially the travel life. The kids are learning Mandarin and getting used to Taiwanese at the Buddhist temple. There is a richness I don't want to miss out on. I still want to be sexy when we party in Beirut and Tel Aviv and Ibiza. I want to feel comfortable going into the herb shops in Amsterdam. I want to soak in all that life has to offer without fear. That comes with chances but so does not doing anything but the expected. It also comes with a characteristic feeling of what the fuck is the point of all of this shit ? ! I have a vision and each and every day is starting to feel more and more like my plane will be pulling up any moment now. Airports, food, people a good night sleep. Maybe that's the thing about travel : that when you have less routine, less that you "HAVE" to do, that you have to keep up with, and maintain then you can wake up and simply give thanks for the day, the natural beauty before your eyes, interact with people in a genuine way and learn to belly laugh again. Besides that the different types of music, fashion and man candy definitely wont hurt !

Lately I have had a dream that we were in St.Louis, Italy, Ethiopia and Portugal. before we leave I definitely want to see the rest of New England, Vermont again and California. New Mexico. Montana. Wyoming. Arizona. Mexico. Colorado Alaska, Hawaii. I;m thinking Banff, Canada. DC For the Inaguration of the 44th President Mr.Barack Obama ! Next election is 2016, HMMph. I meant to say Rio olympics.

So much has changed and changed again.

So in the past couple weeks things have changed. First I had the bright idea to travel the world with the kids and Tahir. First I thought about just visiting. But that would not be enough when there is a whole world to see out there. So I thought to myself : why not live all over the world. For months at a time in each and every place. Might seem like a highly improbable plan but crazier things have happened. I truly believe that thought the days come and many little challenges pop up, there is something more magical that you don't see happening. The kind of thing that makes you stop what you're doing an color a picture you drew almost 5 years ago. A picture of your child's name. Your children. And add the name of the one year old. A beautiful psychedelic picture. In the moment. having had a day. A good day. Another day. In this life that is mine. Yesterday we went to the park and had it all to ourselves. it was nice. green. Birds chirping. Huge shady trees. The day before that we went to the jazz festival in Ft.Lauderdale with our cooler and I did the cha cha slide with the crowd ! So for now, I am planning our trip to the Western Caribbean. This particular cruise will be to Cayman Islands and Jamaica ! December 15th on the Destiny of the seas out of Miami. I am excited for the great bonding time. Memories. For the time being the property is in the works. I am thinking that the spring will be the time. I want it but also recognize that I have to take it easy. the law of least effort will work in my favor. We will have our Exuma property. We will. So for now the plan to teach english in Thailand and to stay all over the world, world, world will be in the works. I gave myself 3 years. So in 3 years I need to be prepared to shed my belongings. Except the ones we really really love. I would be curious as to if all of my "stuff" had to fit into 3 plastic tupperware containers which ones I would keep. Thinking we Just in case I forgot to mention the nearly $750,000 house that we will build in Exuma is in the clouds. I think it will come to earth and land on our property at the rate of about 10,000 feet per year. So by my estimations,in about 7 years by the time we come back from our world traveling tour we will land at around the same time ! : ) Yep. School is boring. I hate having to drop off and pick up at a certain time, and I know something much more powerful, memorable and amazing awaits me and the kids and Tahir ! On that note, I will end will 2 quotes by one very wise and one very honest man: "Successful people ask questions, they seek new teachers. They're always learning." - robert kiyosaki "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you ? Not much." - Jim Rohn. Jim Rohn must be speaking to me in spirit... Here are a few more of his great wise quotes: "Nothing is more powerful for your future than being a gatherer of good ideas and information. That's called doing your homework." -- Jim Rohn "Get around people who have something of value to share with you. Their impact will continue to have a significant effect on your life long after they have departed." On WEALTH: "It's not the amount that counts; it's the plan that counts. It's not how much you allocate but how you allocate it." -- "To be enterprising is to keep your eyes open and your mind active. It's to be skilled enough, confident enough, creative enough and disciplined enough to seize opportunities that present themselves...regardless of the economy." "Being enterprising doesn't just relate to the ability to make money. Being enterprising also means feeling good enough about yourself, having enough self worth to want to seek advantages and opportunities that will make a difference in your future." "If you talk to your children, you can help them to keep their lives together. If you talk to them skillfully, you can help them to build future dreams." "Our lives are greatly affected by what we know since what we know determines the decisions we will make." Jim, thank you. God thank you. I find what is most important to teach my children is love, joy, compassion and following your passion by showing them. They have a love of learning, and they know how special they are. They know I have their back. They recognize the seasons, fall, winter, spring and summer. They know there is a reason to laugh, to believe, a reason to hope, and a reason to dream. They know a beat. They will dance. They will sing, they will hold hands, and bow their heads solemnly. They will never take no for an answer and they will always strive to make humanity better. Thank you Jehovah Jireh!

Live from Costa Rica

For each trip that I take I am going to create a list. A list of pros and cons for each country. Each destination. In hopes that when deciding on a destination people can have a realistic expectation without being over idealized. For me Costa Rica has many parts. However I think one misconception is that scarlet macaws and jaguars are roaming all over. There are lots of trees. Yet it is not so dense. There are areas within the town that has a plethora of flora and fauna. Mostly flora. Anyway. Food is somewhat inaccessible in areas of isolated resorts. So you become hostage of resort costs. I was rather disappointed in not seeing many frogs. Although I did see the blue jeans frog. I had hoped to see more naturally occurring. The resort lifestyle is something that consists mostly of planning for me at least. Arranging taxis and figuring out the best local spots. The cost of taxis back and forth can be prohibitive. All in all the Costa Rican people take pride in their environment and not so much in national currency. There is much to see and many hours drive in between. I would recommend Costa Rica for the keen hiker, bird watcher and not those looking for night life. Not for those looking for fashion or lots of variety in eateries. I would recommend a healthy budget for taxis or renting a car. Biggest great surprise: hot springs. Biggest Let down: Lack of ease in seeing local wildlife and distance between places. Definitely worth renting a car.

Welcome to the Year 2012 ! I am always looking at airfare costs to go to various places. But my yearly travel goal is never far from my mind. I have been feeling a particular calling to the continent of Africa. I am sure that it is well achievable. In the next 10 years I will be making the most of travel. As my children grow into teenagers.I have come to realize that without planning nothing would be possible, as it has to first be an idea before it can be manifest. I have a very detailed itinerary for the next 20 years indeed. For now in this year I am planning for Costa Rica, california and Trinidad. Each year I want to visit a family island in the Bahamas. So this time will be Exuma. Then maybe Abaco, Bimini, Andros, Cat Island, Eleuthera. Those will be the first ones I visit. We are planning on creating a breakfast in bed. To that end, I will be going to the Bahamas to apply for my citizenship papers. Making contacts is always very very important. So that is my plan thus far. I have become a fan of luxury purchases. Diamonds, beautiful scarves, exotic jewels etc. Now I just need to earnings to catch up with my shopping, charity and travel !
