By saying that something is real and imagining yourself there, you simultaneously create it.

Between November and April I have visited 4 new countries including Dominican Republic, Dominica, Grenada and Antigua. Along with 2 of the U.S Virgin Islands. All of these places which I sharply remember.

Now as I set my sights on places of great spiritual significance like India, Indonesia and Tibet I am widening my net and tuning into what I want to happen.

For me traveling is a spiritual calling. It is an aspect of one's self that beckons to be answered. Like eating or sleeping.

My next sights are set most closely on Costa Rica. That country has been in my heart.

I want to go to Croatia, in Europe.

I am also feeling to travel to the Western United States.

All about VALUE.

I am what one might consider a "money stretcher". I love to make money last and be amazed at what I can get dollar for dollar. The same goes for travel. Personally, I subscribe to Conde Nast magazine to see new discount sites. I also scour the internet for deal websites. If you are thinking of traveling to a certain region, lets say the Mediterranean consider going to less known areas in that same area. In the Mediterranean for instance try Sicily rather than Rome. Go to areas where locals congregate to avoid touristy everything. Surprising how simply looking at a map can mean knowing the region and cutting your costs by at least 25 %. After all the region will have the same topography and climate throughout !

France placed first, with the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark and Luxembourg reaching inside the top 10 as well. This blog was the brainchild of a friend who heard my inextinguishable desire to travel and suggested I create a travel blog.
And so outside of my normal deep, thought provoking and somewhat serious inquiries of thought, this one is purely for pleasure.
